Lets talk: SLEEK VS MAKEUP REVOLUTION

Hey guys! Guess who is backkk... yes me! Z! I'm back and I'm ready to open a discussion and what i want to talk about today is two of my favourite brands: Sleek and Makeup Revolution.
Honestly, don't get me wrong; I utterly adore both and I don't think I could function without my new Revolution foundation and concealer but sometimes you just have to create some drama!My topic for this debate is my signature (only) look: Rainbow eyes. If I'm wearing eyeshadow and it isn't some form of rainbow then someone call 999 because I'm probably sick.
Let's start then shall we!
On the left: Makeup Revolution 2017 palette, to the right: Sleek Rio Rio Palette.
Let's start with the colours shall we? I found both of them pretty pigmented (I was honestly shocked by the Sleek palette? It was so vibrant and I didn't think it would be.) however, I found the yellow in the MUR palette was very neon where it was more of a golden shade in Sleek (LUSHHH).
So, both vibrant? Brilliant, that's 1:1.
Golden yellow? a point goes to sleek so that's 1:2
Okay, okay so the yellow may be a little off BUT there is a wider variety of colours in the MUR palette (there is like 138 colours so you'd expect it), there are several: purples, blues and greens! They lack in the orange and yellow department but that's okay I guess (However, the six colours i use in the left image are by far the best shades if you want a nice bright, happy rainbow, they others are much darker). The Sleek palette is much, much smaller so has less choice of colours (the red and the orange are so similar sometimes i get them a little confused) but they're all the same sorta shade (no neon randoms here).

So, we've talked colour but what about style? I only used to try this look with the MUR palette which is very matte but still super pretty so i was cool with it HOWEVER my new love when it comes to rainbow is now shimmer because who doesn't want a shiny rainbow on their face??? So, i was so so happy to find out the sleek palette is very shimmery and kinda sparkly which i think personally works so much better with a rainbow look!

The blending on both is so easy, i can't fault either of them so thats a definitive draw right there, they both blend so wonderfully i can't find a fault.
